Context
The product brings together game discovery, communities, profiles, and events. Ali’s work covered frontend performance, backend services, and release infrastructure.
Engineering contribution
- Worked on the React and Next.js frontend, including loading performance and bundle size.
- Built and maintained backend services in Rust and C#.
- Moved deployment to ArgoCD and improved the release workflow.
Reported results
Reported LCP improved from 3 seconds to approximately 800ms, and the JavaScript bundle decreased from 180KB to 60KB. Deployment time went from 25 to 10 minutes.
